Brandt Andersen è un attivista e artista. Nel novembre 2023 si è unito all’aeronautica giordana per lanciare aiuti umanitari su Gaza. Nel 2019, Andersen ha visitato e filmato gli ospedali fuori Aleppo, in Siria, con CanDo. Andersen ha organizzato campi cinematografici per rifugiati in Giordania e Turchia per conto di CARE. Ha visitato e filmato le condizioni di vita nei campi profughi in Giordania, Grecia, Italia e Turchia con l’UNHCR. Andersen ha prodotto oltre 30 film. Il suo debutto alla regia “Refugee” è stato selezionato per un Oscar come miglior
cortometraggio live action nel 2020.

Biofilmography
Brandt Andersen is an activist and artist. In November 2023, he joined the Jordanian Airforce on humanitarian aid drops over Gaza. In 2019, Andersen visited and filmed hospitals outside of Aleppo, Syria with CanDo. Andersen has organized film camps for refugees in Jordan and Turkey on behalf of CARE. He has visited and filmed the living conditions in refugee camps in Jordan, Greece, Italy, and Turkey with the UNHCR. Andersen has produced over 30 films. His directorial debut “Refugee” was shortlisted for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short in 2020.
