Sinossi: La plastica è ovunque. Non sono solo nei nostri fiumi e oceani, permeano l’aria e il suolo e anche i nostri corpi. Mentre la crisi si aggrava e il riciclaggio è ben lungi dall’essere funzionante, l’industria della plastica continua ad aumentare la produzione. L’industria vuole continuare ad andare avanti come ha fatto in passato? PLASTIC FANTASTIC segue diversi protagonisti, da un lato rappresentanti dell’industria della plastica e dall’altro scienziati e attivisti, per scoprire dove ci sta portando la crisi della plastica.

Synopsis: Plastics are everywhere. They are not just in our rivers and oceans, they permeate the air and soil and also our bodies. While the crisis deepens and recycling is far from working, the plastics industry continues to ramp up production. Does the industry want to keep going on like they have in the past? PLASTIC FANTASTIC follows several protagonists, on the one hand representatives of the plastics industry and on the other scientists and activists, to find out where the plastics crisis is leading us.

Biofilmografia: Isa Willinger è nata a Monaco e ha studiato regia di documentari all’Università di televisione e cinema di Monaco. Il suo lungometraggio d’esordio HI, AI.LOVE STORIES FROM THE FUTURE è stato nominato per il German Film Award per il miglior documentario nel 2019 e come tale ha vinto il Max Ophüls Award. Nel 2020, Isa ha ricevuto il premio cinematografico SI STAR per l’eccezionale registe donne.
