How can we get there
San Vito Lo Capo is located at the tip of one of Sicily’s peninsulas, and it is not always easy to reach by public transport.
Below are some directions that can help you in your search.
For Those Arriving from Trapani Airport or Station
Public Buses
Azienda Siciliana Trasporti (AST) runs 4 services a day. You can find all the information at the following link: Azienda Siciliana Trasporti.
Private Shared Shuttles
There are numerous companies that organize shared shuttles. You just need to do an online search.
By Car
Trapani Vincenzo Florio Airport is 70 km from San Vito Lo Capo, about a 1-hour drive.
From the airport, it is recommended to take the highway towards Trapani, then follow the signs for Valderice via the Provincial Road 187, which merges after about 15 km with the SP16 towards San Vito Lo Capo.
For those departing from the port, the Trapani-Erice seafront leads directly to San Vito via Provincial Roads 20 and 18.
For Those Arriving from Palermo Airport or Station
Public Buses
Autoservizi Russo runs two daily services. You can find all the information at the following link: russoautolinee.it
Private Shared Shuttles
There are numerous companies that organize shared shuttles. You just need to do an online search.
By Car
Palermo Falcone e Borsellino Airport is 100 km from San Vito Lo Capo, a little over an hour by car.
Taking the E90 motorway (no toll) towards Trapani, you reach the exit for Castellamare del Golfo.
From there, via the Strada Statale 187 and then the Strada Provinciale 16, you can reach San Vito Lo Capo in about 20-25 minutes.
If You Need to Use a Car
We recommend leaving it in one of the two large public parking areas near the center, listed below, and enjoying San Vito Lo Capo on foot!
