DAVID RIONDINO
His life as an artist starts in the 70s with the composition of songs and the release of records. Since then his range of activity includes music, literature, TV, radio and cinema. His main focus, though, has always been the theatre. His style could be described as a blend of styles between poetry, satire, classic texts, and live music. For some years now he has been working on the recovery of oral tradition. In Tuscany he has founded the Fondazione Accademia dell’Ottava, the Foundation of the Ottava Academy. Together with Stefano Bollani he directed the acclaimed radio programme “Il Dottor Djembè” in the Italian radio.
